LinkedIn can be a powerful place to build visibility, credibility and relationships, but only if your business shows up consistently and has something useful to say.

For many businesses, the challenge is not knowing LinkedIn exists. It is finding the time to plan content, write it well, keep it relevant and make sure the company page reflects what is actually happening in the business.

My LinkedIn for Business service gives you ongoing support with company content so your business stays visible without adding another regular task to your internal team.

Why does your business need its own LinkedIn Page?

Personal profiles are incredibly important on LinkedIn. People connect with people, and your directors, leaders and employees can often create conversations and relationships that a company page cannot create in quite the same way.

But that does not make the Company Page unnecessary, as they do different jobs.

Your personal profiles help people get to know the individuals behind the business.

Your Company Page gives them somewhere to understand and validate the business itself.

It creates a professional home for your company on LinkedIn where prospective customers, employees, partners and other stakeholders can see what you do, what you stand for, what is happening within the business and whether you are active.

LinkedIn currently has 1.2 billion members, including more than 130 million decision-makers.

LinkedIn also reports that Company Pages with complete information receive 30% more weekly views, while companies that post weekly see twice the engagement of those that do not.

A strong LinkedIn presence therefore should not be an either/or decision between the company and its people.

The strongest approach is often to use both.

Your Company Page builds the consistent business presence. Your people bring personality, expertise, relationships and reach.

It starts with strategy

Before I write your first post, we start with a LinkedIn Strategy Session.

I want to understand the business before I start speaking on its behalf.

We look at:

  • what you want LinkedIn to achieve

  • who you want to reach

  • your target customers and sectors

  • your services and priorities

  • the subjects you want to be known for

  • what is already happening within the business that could become content

  • your team and the people who could support the company's LinkedIn presence

  • competitors and others within your market

  • how LinkedIn fits alongside your wider sales and marketing activity

  •

From there, we agree the direction for your content and the areas we want to focus on.

The aim is not simply to fill a content calendar.

It is to make sure the content has a reason for being there.

What the service includes

I create ongoing LinkedIn content that reflects the company properly rather than filling your page with generic posts.

That can include:

  • business updates

  • projects and case studies

  • customer stories

  • team activity

  • expertise and thought leadership

  • events

  • industry commentary

  • services and capabilities

  • company milestones

  • recruitment and people-focused content

  • partnerships and collaborations

Where possible, I use what is already happening within the company.

There is usually far more to talk about than businesses realise. The key is identifying what will actually be useful or interesting to the people you want to reach.

You will also receive a monthly LinkedIn report so we can see what is actually happening rather than relying on assumptions.
