Growth can create opportunities, but it can also create more moving parts.
As a business develops, priorities shift, services evolve, teams change, marketing becomes more complex and decisions can start to happen in isolation rather than as part of one joined-up plan.
The Growth Roadmap gives you dedicated time to step away from the day-to-day running of the business and look at the full picture.
Through a guided business audit and planning process, we review where the business is now, where you want it to go and what needs to happen to move it forward.
The result is a practical Growth Action Plan built around your goals, your people, your capacity and the realities of the business.
Who is the Growth Roadmap for?
The Growth Roadmap could be right for you if:

The business is growing, but priorities are becoming harder to manage.

Your products or services have developed over time and need reviewed.

You need to consider capacity, skills, delegation or future team requirements.

You want a practical plan that can actually be implemented.

You have opportunities and ideas, but need to decide which deserve your attention.

Different people are involved in sales, marketing, operations or delivery, but responsibilities could be clearer.

You want to identify realistic opportunities for the next stage of growth.

Sales and marketing activity is happening, but it does not always feel joined up.

Different people are involved in sales, marketing, operations or delivery, but responsibilities could be clearer.

You are making important decisions around investment, expansion or the future direction of the business.
You do not need to be experiencing a major problem to benefit from a Growth Roadmap.
Sometimes the right time to review the business is when things are going well and you want to make sure the next stage of growth is deliberate rather than reactive.

WHAT MY CLIENTS ARE SAYING:

WHAT YOU GET FROM THE GROWTH ROADMAP
By the end of the process, you will have a much clearer view of the business as it stands today and the priorities that should shape what happens next.
You will leave with a structured Growth Action Plan that brings together the different parts of the business rather than treating sales, marketing, people, systems and growth as separate conversations.
The aim is to give you:
-
a clear understanding of your current position
-
clarity around what needs attention now and what can wait
-
agreed priorities for the next stage of growth
-
practical actions with clear ownership where a team is involved
-
a more joined-up view of sales, marketing and customer activity
-
greater clarity around your services and growth opportunities
-
a better understanding of capacity, systems and support requirements
-
a realistic plan that reflects the time and resources available
-
confidence in the decisions you are making next

HOW IT WORKS
The Growth Roadmap begins before the day itself.
You complete a detailed questionnaire in advance so I can understand the business, your current priorities and the areas we may need to explore in more detail.
For businesses with a team, we also look at areas such as structure, responsibilities, communication, implementation and the people involved in delivering the plan.
The Roadmap session is then a structured working day.
This is not a generic checklist or a standard business review.
We work through the business using The Growth Compass methodology, exploring the areas that influence sustainable growth and identifying what is working, what needs attention and where the biggest opportunities may sit.
From those discussions, I create your Growth Action Plan, bringing the priorities, actions and recommendations together into one clear document.
You also receive a copy of The Growth Compass and a 30-minute follow-up session to review progress and discuss any questions that arise once you begin implementing the plan.

WHAT WE COVER IN THE AUDIT
The Growth Roadmap looks at the business as a whole, using The Growth Compass as the framework.
-
Understanding You & Your Team
We look at time, motivation, working styles, strengths, weaknesses, support, responsibilities, capacity and your longer-term plans. For businesses with teams, we also consider the people and skills needed to deliver the next stage of growth.
-
Understanding Your Client
We get clear on who your customers are, what they need, what influences their decisions and where there may be opportunities to strengthen relationships, retention and referrals.
-
Your Company Audit
We review where the business stands today, including strengths, weaknesses, systems, processes, technology, AI, support and the areas that may need attention.
-
Products & Services Review
We look at what you sell, how it is positioned, pricing, profitability, demand and whether your current offer supports where you want the business to go.
-
Expansion & Exit
We explore what growth actually means for you, whether that involves turnover, team growth, new markets, partnerships, reducing your involvement or longer-term succession and exit plans.
-
Time & Capacity
We look at how time is being used, what needs prioritised and what could be delegated, automated, simplified or supported differently.
-
Time to Grow
We explore the routes that could support your growth, including your website, social media, sales funnels and hourglass, email and databases, blogs, online learning, PR and media, speaking and podcasts, networking, events, collaborations, partnerships and thought leadership.
The aim is not to do everything. It is to identify the routes that are most relevant to your customers, goals and resources.
-
Making Sales
We review how leads become customers, including follow-up, conversion, sales conversations, onboarding, repeat business, referrals and retention.
-
Your Growth Plan
Finally, we bring everything together.
We agree what needs to happen first, what can wait, who is responsible and what support or investment may be required.
You leave with a practical Growth Action Plan built around the priorities that will make the biggest difference to your business.
What Makes
This Different?
It starts with the people, not just the tactics.
A business does not grow through marketing activity alone.
Growth is influenced by the people involved, the decisions being made, the systems supporting the business and the capacity available to implement change.
That is why the Growth Roadmap looks at the whole picture.
Sales, marketing, services, customers, people, systems, capacity, technology and future plans all affect each other.
Making a change in one area without considering the impact elsewhere can easily create another problem.
The Growth Roadmap helps you understand those connections and build a plan that works across the business.
For an owner-led business, that may mean creating more structure and taking some of the pressure away from the owner.
For a growing organisation, it may mean creating greater alignment between leadership, teams, responsibilities and priorities.
The principle is the same:
Understand where you are, decide where you are going and build a practical route between the two.

Growth Roadmaps for businesses
with teams
The core Growth Roadmap works for businesses of different sizes.
Once a business has a larger team, there are naturally more people, responsibilities, systems and implementation considerations involved.
Where the complexity of the business means that one day will not allow us to work through everything properly, I may recommend a Two-Day Growth Roadmap.
Two-Day Growth Roadmap
£1,150 + VAT
This gives us the additional time needed to properly explore the business, involve the relevant people and create a realistic plan for implementation.
